Our Environmental Policies
Plastic Free
We have eliminated, where possible, all single use plastic items, and encourage staff and customers to avoid single use plastics. We have a water refilling station, and customers can purchase reusable bottles, otherwise we have made the switch to canned water so no plastic bottles are sold onsite.
Recycling
We have recycling bins in the reception cabin, and recycle paper, bottles and cans. Our cans are taken to Jersey Zoo to support their ‘Corridors for Cans’ initiative, which helps protect the Brazilian rainforest.

Cycle to work
We have a cycle to work incentive in place for all our staff to reduce the impact of work related traffic, which includes bike servicing and financial rewards.
Nature Preservation
The centre is home to a variety of protected species, such as the Green Lizard and many Red Squirrels, along with bats, bees, buzzards, ducks and more! We have built green lizard habitats, put up bat, bee and bird boxes and do everything we can to keep all our animal friends happy and healthy.
